"Given that our session was held at 9am on a Sunday I was pleasantly surprised to remain alert, engaged and interested throughout the day. Each trainer approached the training from a different perspective, which I found added value to the session. The timing was particularly good – the trainers knew when to switch to a new topic, add an exercise, or swap places to keep the audience from switching off. The speaking exercises were enjoyable and not too confronting – it was good to get supportive feedback from both trainers and colleagues. In my experience, the most successful training sessions are the ones which get the audience to think, analyse and question. Spruikit Presentation Skills Training sparked a lot of ideas on how to improve AVI's information sessions, and to better train and prepare our volunteers to be AVI ambassadors.
