Lynette Hyslop

Lynette HyslopLynette Hyslop is a news writer, presenter and media trainer with more than 20 years industry experience. She currently writes and presents news for the ABC in Melbourne (Radio Australia), Melbourne’s Triple M and SBS World News Australia.

Starting with ABC Radio as a cadet journalist, Lynette branched out into the commercial news world with Austereo. She was the Triple M drive-time news editor and presenter for many years covering stories like the Hoddle and Queen Street massacres, the Russell Street bombing, the Royal visit of Charles and Diana and, more recently, the deaths of Steve Irwin and Peter Brock. Lynette has also worked for Fox FM in Melbourne, as well as PM FM and 92.9 FM in Perth.

Using her broad and practical understanding of the media, and knowing what motivates journalists, Lynette has trained people from all walks of life including politicians, bureaucrats, academics, business executives, sports people and professional groups.
