Kelly Nestor

Kelly NestorKelly Nestor is a television news presenter of significant note, having years of news anchoring and current affairs reporting experience.

Most recently Kelly presented the 6pm weekday news bulletin for Channel 9 in Adelaide. Prior to this, Kelly anchored Sky News bulletins for an Australia-wide audience.

Kelly brings years of experience as a presenter, reporter and producer. This has included presenting the ABC and Channel 10 flagship nightly news programs, as well as hosting and reporting on various current affairs and special-interest programs.

Kelly anchored the news during the Asian Tsunami disaster, the 9/11 attacks, and the Greek Olympics. She’s travelled the world covering major events such as Princess Diana’s death.

During her career, Kelly has worked in every mainland state and territory in Australia, and in London she worked for international newsgathering agencies and presenting for American cable giant ESPN.

Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism Studies. She has also won numerous state news and sports journalism awards including best newsreader in 1999 and 2009 (the top prize in the Clear Speech Awards by Better Hearing Australia SA).
